Meet a 10 years old boy, Milind, who once helped his teacher, Mrs. Sen, and his friend Mira at the same time with his great presence of mind.
Milind and Mira were talking about what they have brought for the term end party. Milind has brought Samosas while Mira has brought wafers.
The term end party was about to begin. The boring class with tables and chairs was turned into a party zone. It had colorful decorations and loud music. All of sudden a loud voice made all the students freeze. The students recognized the voice immediately. It was Mrs. Sen's! She shouted, "Come on! Everybody come here, in the locker room." Everyone ran towards the locker room where Mrs. Sen was standing with a sad face. She sobbed, "Wh - where is m-my p-purse?" I-I am unable to find my p-purse which was right here on the table b-beside the cake box"
Everyone in the room was shocked. Mrs. Sen checked everyone's locker and found her purse in Mira's locker! She opened her purse and found it empty! The money she was carrying was missing! Mira explained that she had no idea how the purse came in her locker and she can't return the money that she never stole. But Mrs. Sen wasn't listening. She took Mira to the detention room. Mira was crying badly. Her eyes turned red. She was feeling so helpless. Milind consoled her and promised that he would help her.
In the party, everyone was enjoying except Milind who was sad for his best friend Mira. Because he knew that she can not do such an act and she was innocent.
Milind was sitting and thinking if not Mira, who stole Mrs. Sen's purse..... Just then, Varun came with a samosa in his hand and said, "Oh, Milind! your samosas are bit spicy! I wish, Mrs. Sen brings out her pineapple cake soon."
Just then, Mrs. Sen came in with the PINEAPPLE CAKE in her hands. Milind was stunned and suddenly something stroke in his mind, then he thought for a moment and went straight to the party area where everyone was gathered. Milind said, "Please stop the music for a moment. I have an important announcement to make. It was Varun who has stolen the purse and not Mira, she is innocent."
Listening to this Mrs. Sen asked, ''Milind, why do you think so?'' Milind explained, ''Mam! Varun couldn't wait to eat the pineapple cake. Even before you came in with the cake.'' Then he turned to Varun and asked, "Mrs. Sen's cake was a surprise. How could you know it was a pineapple flavor unless you saw it?"
Everyone in the party hall looked at Varun. He was in big trouble now. Mira thanked Milind for clearing her name. And then everyone enjoyed the party, food and the cake except for Varun the thief.

We should not take a decision in haste and we should always try to help others.
